Two Installation Methods for Compact Busway

I. Vertical installation of compact busbar trunking systems.

1. Precise measurement: Based on the locations of the embedded holes in the wooden floor, connect two galvanized angle‑steel support brackets to the busbar trunking using bolts. Then, using the bolts provided by the supplier, install the seismic torsion springs and sealing rings, tighten the nuts, and secure the assembly to the steel support brackets. The total number of spring‑loaded support units shall be determined according to the type and capacity of the busbar trunking.

2. Secure the compact busbar trunking system to the galvanized angle‑steel support frame using horizontal pressure plates, bolts, nuts, flat washers, and self‑locking nuts. Then install it section by section, ensuring that the compact busbar trunking remains vertical (verify with a plumb bob). Cover the terminal connections with end caps and fasten them securely with bolts.

II. Horizontal installation of compact busbar trunking systems.

1. During horizontal installation, use a leveling fixture, bolts, nuts, flat washers, and self-locking nuts to securely fasten the compact busbar trunking (horizontal) to the support frame of the galvanized angle‑steel bracket.

2. Install on the horizontal side. The compact busway (placed on its side) is securely fastened to a galvanized angle‑steel support frame using side‑mounted tooling fixtures, bolts, nuts, flat washers, and self‑locking nuts. When installing the compact busway horizontally, ensure it remains level; lift the terminal cover on the terminal block and secure it with bolts.
